What is FictualArt?

FictualArt is a place where different art forms such as jewelry, collages, paintings, short stories or poems share the space they deserve.

The process

A stark contrast to one of my favorite museums, the Museum Insel Hombroich in Holzheim near Düsseldorf, where no work of art mentions who the maker is or what story lies behind it. Information that is not really important to me.

For FictualArt, however, I deliberately combine the visual with the written. Usually I start from a self-made piece of jewelry or a collage and write a text with it. That could be a short story or a poem. Sometimes just the other way around. The three-dimensional works are created professionally or I create by way of relaxation. Most texts have an autobiographical origin.
